This is my go-to for almond chicken and for sweet and sour chicken. They are always prompt weather eating in or takeout. Great food.
I moved to Southgate and could not find food I like til I ate here. I went one a week for a least a month and half. I always got the Chinese vegetable soup. Delicious. I also tried the shrimp egg foo young. Delicious. I will be there today if they are open. A++. And the customer service is a plus!!

Very good I was impressed to see how big the shrimp were in the shrimp fried rice and you got quite a bit. The sweet and sour chicken was very tasty along with egg roll. Definitely will be going back
I've eaten here many times and this time brought my sister after we were out and about on a Saturday. She wanted "good" egg rolls and I said, "I'll take you to a great place, that reminds me of Red Ruby." Where we always went growing up. The place was packed for dinner time and we had to park on a side street. The staff were almost speed walking in order to keep customers happy, one lady was waiting tables using a cart to deliver courses in timely manner to 3-4 tables at a time. I had my favorite chicken lo mein and my sister had cashew beef dinner combination, which included: egg roll, soup entree fried rice. You get hot tea and these crispy fried noodles for your soup, plus there's another type of fried snack sprinkled with cinnamon which are addictive. Our food was very tasty, hot and servings are plentiful to share or take home leftovers. The chicken and beef in or entrees were large and tender with wonderful flavors. There was also a steady flow of carry out orders getting picked up. Another very satisfying meal at China Bowl and I encourage you to come try them out.
